There is a pdf of Vol 1 of Tafsir At-Tabari floating on archive.org. I am still learning Arabic so I am not yet able to understand the original Arabic texts. I am otherwise learning from the English translation of Ibn Kathir. I would start with tafsir as-Sa'di, there's also an English version of that floating around, and it should be
